The offered research services and the communication/ the transfer of research results do not constitute any risk assessment, legal advice or evaluation of a certain status of industrial property rights, but do only reflect a certain status of register, that is being displayed/ found when searching the agreed parameters. For the evaluation of the status of industrial property rights, it will be necessary to consult an attorney.
Liability for minor negligence and breaches of duty is excluded, insofar as they do not include damages from injuries to life, body, or health or guarantees are affected. This also applies to respective violations of duty by LHIP vicarious agents.
Nevertheless, any claim for damages is capped at five times the net value of the invoice of the single order being subject to the dispute.
LHIP does not accept any liability that the information in the databases used is complete, up to date and correct.

The research and monitoring of trademarks comprise no results related to conceptual similarities to the searched input. It is possible, that trademarks with an earlier priority exist, but have not yet been disclosed at the time of research. Moreover, a trademark can also face opposition based on signs not disclosed in databases (e.g. so-called genericized trademarks).

In principle, research and monitoring comprise only published documents. Patent applications are normally published 18 to 24 months after the application was filed. Thus, it is possible, that a relevant document cannot be found at the time of research.
